Re-Opening Update and Can Release changes

We want to share an important update regarding can releases going forward…

If you have picked up orders or driven by the Porter Mill recently, you may have noticed a good chunk of Fayette Street has been sectioned off by jersey barriers.

We are thrilled to announce this sectioned off area will become our beer garden! Over the next few weeks we will be transforming this space into a 36-seat patio where you can come and enjoy fresh pours of CMB beers. We have food vendors booked through Halloween who will provide seated service. Opening date and hours will be announced soon.

Given our current size, opening the patio means we will need to shift our packaging model from cans back to kegs. We already had canning runs with State 64 booked on Friday, 7/17 and Friday, 7/31. Our plan right now for these last two canning runs will be to offer the cans to seated customers for onsite consumption in the beer garden. A small portion of cans (5-10 cases) from each batch will be made available for take-home. These cans will need to be purchased via walk-in sales directly from the brewery. There simply won’t be enough cans for an online release to be feasible, so we will have to take a break from them.

We truly apologize, we know how you guys looked forward to the online releases! Trust us, we don’t want to stop them either but unfortunately due to our size and business model, this was inevitable if we were ever to reopen for on-site consumption. We thank you for understanding and hope that being able to enjoy a pour in the beer garden will be worth the trade off! We have several more exciting announcements that we’ll be sharing in the coming weeks so stay tuned!
